electrical issue??

I have a 96 Dakota, 3.9, auto, 4x4.. Drove it last night just perfect. This morning wife started it, made the buzzing sound, you know the buzz when u leave keys in and door open, that buzz noise, and dash lights didn't turn on. They showed every light on and the clicking from the turn signals. However the hazards were not on, the clicking went away after turning the dimmer switch all the way up. No gauges worked. Rpm mph, gas. Nothing. And to make it weird my GPS totally reset. BTW GPS always plugged into power outlet. Now all lights worked. Headlights tail lights all signals but hazard.. Any ideas??

How old is your battery? May want to ask a parts store to load test it. Electrical gremlins are often a sign of a marginal battery.
