I changed my filter in my 92 f150 5.0 and I guess the valves on each ends where the filter connects to won't stop leaking, so i bought the teeth things that go in it. And connected the fuel filter again and its still spraying gas out, wat am i doing wrong

was the fuel line hard or brittle at the ends or was it supple and soft ?

If the nipples of the original fuel filter were corroded, then the O-ring(s) that seal the filter to the fuel line might still be on the original filter, as well as the plastic bushing from the connector body. It's possible that the O-rings inside the connector body might have failed when being removed from the old filter. Worst case you will need new fuel line ends to reconnect the filter.
