Driver's side power window does not work.

My drivers side power window does not work as if its getting no electricity.
I bought a new regulator, plugged it in and it still does not work. I bought the 4 switch console, replaced it and still itdoes not work. The 3 other windows work though. I checked the fuse, its fine.
I am wondering where the electrical current could be stopped.
Also, where could I get a schematic of the window pins so I can check the voltages and what each pin does?
Thanks Brad, near Seattle

Do you know what year your car is? What model?

Try bbbind.com for free wiring schematics.

Gee, I'm so sorry. I can't believe I didn't put that in my original post. It's a 2003 Full time all wheel drive Saturn VUE.

Thanks Stever, bbbind is a great site! I'll have to get out there today and check the switches. Brad

Do the other three windows operate from your drivers switch, or only from their own switches?

Many people forget to include that info when they post. Thanks for answering; that might make it easier for
someone to help you that has experience with that model.

Without looking it up, I assume the 4-switches are in the console different than some cars with 4 switches on the driver's door. Since you replaced the switches, it's not likely the switch corroded or not working. Since you replaced the regulator, it's not likely the motor in that new regulator, although possible to have a failed new item.

I would suggest looking at the wiring through the door to the A-pillar. That gets flexed every time the door opens and closes. Sometimes the wire threads break inside the plastic covering so the break is invisible. If you check for voltage at the switch and it's there, and you check in the door at the regulator and the voltage is not there, check the flexing spots for continuity.

Edit: Looked up the diagram and it is as I thought with a single switch on the console.
