Tranny rebuilt 25k ago..

Hey all! Just wondering if anyone any clue on my problem. My tranny pan was pretty gunked up, an my transmission fluid smelt like it was getting hot, but wasn't there quite yet. My tranny went into neutral, or seemed like it and when i would turn it off and on, it would almost catch in overdrive, but no gears would?? Hopefully someone has a bit of an idea, i've heard anywhere from my torque convertor being out, to a bad sensor..

    All I know it's probably a Chevy. Year, model, mileage might help too. Ge ya could be anything.
