    I don't know anyone with any knowledge of the subject who does not know summer tires are better than all-seasons in the wet.

    Glad you made the point that summer tires are generally better than all season tires in the wet. I've never driven a better wet tire than the summer Goodyear F1 GS-D3 from a decade ago.

    Sigh. Anyone who knows anything knows that summer tires excel in both dry AND wet road conditions. Duh.

    Taking the opportunity to check out the wet performance was a good catch...hard to find a chance to do it in their environment.
