The Highlander IS nice. It's the nicest Highlander to date. There is one glaring shortcoming, though, and that is the third row seating. My wife and I just shopped mid-sized CUVs/SUVs. The Highlander calls itself a "mid-size", but it's third row was the most cramped by far of the many that we looked at. And having a 3rd seatbelt back there just added to the irony. So, basically, if you actually NEED a third row that accomodates anyone over ten years old, you'll have to look elsewhere.
