Why are my gears messing up?

Hey guys i have a 1996 honda civic ex 1.6 litter i just put a new engine and transmission in and now my park is reverse. Reverse is reverse my drive 4 and 3 are the same but u have to put ur pedal almost all the way down for it to move and i cant even shift into drive 2 its an automatic and ive changed the shifting position sensor and shifting solenoid please help
