My heater works but my air conditioner doesn't.

My 2004  KIA sorento aircondionting isn't working but my heater works and the blower works. People are saying its my relay switch to compresser but I don't believe there is one on there can't find it anywhere on auto part sites. I need help!

    Why do they its a relay? Did they put an electrical voltage tester on it. Could also be a leak. Best way to check is put the ac baines on it, see if it leaks down.
