94 LeSabre - hard to shift INTO Park

Hey all;
I have seen a lot of threads about hard shifting out of park, but I am having a hard time shifting INTO park. I have a Limited, with automatic transaxle, column shift.
It does not matter if I am on a hill or not
It does not matter what gear I was in (D/R/N/)
Any ideas??
