Lifter/valve noise

I just purchased a used 2010 Camry with 44,646 miles. When the engine is cold, ex-in the morning when I start going there is a ticking-tapping noise that sounds like is coming from the engine that when the car is warmed up to operating temp all but goes away. I'm taking it in to be looked at but was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. I have the 2 month 3,000 mile warranty. I've owned 2 previous Camrys that had well over 200,000 miles on each without a hint of problems. Only problem I bought it from a ford and not Toyota dealer.
