Power seat problems

I have a 2006 PT Cruiser, suddenly the power seat will not move forward, I have read all over the internet about bad switches, but I do not think this is a switch issue, I can hear the motor try to spin and can see it jump (like the sound it makes when it has moved as far back as possible. All other functions are normal, including moving back (until I was all the way back and can not go forward now. I have checked for obstructions and checked wiring, any ideas?
