Alarm bells and lights out

I recently had some headlight and radiator work done (hunting deer without a license) and the following things happened after the work was done.
1. An alarm bell sounds rapid dinging sound) when I open the driver's door with the ignition off. (A tiny bit softer when the key is still in the ignition).
2. The dashboard lights are out, although the warning lights (brake, service engine, etc,) still work.
3. The tail lights are out. Flashers turn signals and brake lamps still work.

Any ideas? I checked the fuses and they looked OK, although it's a little hard to tell. The owners manual doesn't show any fuses that control those items.
