Encore infotainment screen touch or non-touch?

I'm confused. All the reviews and even Buick's own website say that the 7" color LCD screen on the Encore is a touch screen. But at the dealership, we played with two different Encores (one with Base trim and the other had the Convenience level trim)... and the screen doesn't respond to touch on either one of them. The sales rep was sure that none of the Encores have a touch screen, that you have to operate the infotainment system with the center console knob and buttons.

How could everyone else be wrong (including Buick's own website for chrissakes)?

Can you Encore owners please clear this up for me? Is the Encore display a touch screen or not?
