Mercury Sable Engine going to stall?

When I stop at a red light etc the engine feels like its going to stall. It has not yet but when it stutters I get concerned!

    Check the ignition connector. Move it around, pull on it and see if it dies when running. Had this issue. I replaced the connector for 12 bucks and now it works fine.
