Have 1989 GMC s15...

Actually when ever I try to engage AC ..truck stops running ...engine just shuts off.

Before this ....I tried to refill refrigerant r134a and it worked for a while ..compressor was engaged while it was sucking refrigerant but later it made a little noise and stopped working...

Now whenever I try to engage ac either normal ac or max ac ...engine just shuts off...

May I used a wrong port, I bought a retrofit adapter kit.

Can anyone show a pic to point which is low port?

Does the compressor shaft turn by hand?

If you have to ask that question I would SERIOUSLY have a professional take a look at it!
