1999 Kia Sephia
Just out of curiosity I looked for reviews of the Kia Sephia. I bought my 1999 in 2003, with 40,000 miles on it. Within a couple of years I had the trans repaired. I was amazed at the negative words regarding this vehicle. I am still driving mine at 241,000 + miles. For several years I drove it up and down the mountain pass 5 days a week to work. After retirement, for three years, I drove it up and down the pass for work 3-5 days a week for volunteer work with the County. I have driven it up through the mountains and deserts of Southern California, relaxed and at peace every mile. Up to Vegas (???) Times. Through Utah. I am still in love with this car! On the freeway, it handles beautifully!!! Quick response, excellent turning radius, Air conditioner works GREAT. I installed a decent, moderate, sound unit a few years ago. When I put in a CD and get on the road...I am at ease with myself and with the other traffic...which sometimes goes a bit slow to suit MY- KIA Sephia. With all of the other negative reviews, I simply shook my head and thought - Sorry about those guys. I got mine. I guess I got the only GREAT Sephia that Kia made...but I highly doubt it.
