Shutting off.

I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS. While driving my car, any time I use the breaks or when my RPM's go below 1, my car shuts off but it starts right back up. I just had the alternator tested and its not that. I also know its not the battery because it's not even a year old yet. My car has been sitting for about nine months now due to some personal stuff. At first I would start and drive it for a couple miles then park it again just to make sure it ran. But about three months ago it started shutting off due to mentioned above. Any input would be helpful. Right now I don't have a car so I need to get this fixed as soon as possible.
