I can't get past how cheap those gauges look. I've had cheap rental cars with nicer looking gauges.

Josh, I own a 2015 Colorado Z71 package and I was very surprised when I saw this article praising the Colorado's transmission calibration.

Since day 1 driving the truck off the lot, I have been experiencing really bad issues with it downshifting in slow speed conditions. It will not downshift as needed and sometimes it can go up to 2 seconds before the truck even responds, sometimes I need to step in the throttle which ends up launching the truck at high RPMs and high speeds. Also going uphill at slower speeds, the truck constantly upshifts and doesn't respond quickly enough to downshift or maintain speed.

I've taken it to the dealership and while there are no error codes or lights on, they agree with me that the truck is not shifting as a regular vehicle should... But GM states there is nothing wrong with it and that it in fact is a vehicle design. I find that very odd and I dangerous for many reasons.

I've read many online forum threads from people complaining about similar issues. But I was wondering if you have experienced any of these types of issues with your truck? I personally love the truck and think it is a hit, if the shifting problems were addressed.
