2015 Nissan Altima Steering Question
Hi,
I recently bought a 2015 Nissan Altima SV back in May and it currently has about 1600 miles on it and ever since I got the car I've felt like the steering is heavy/heavier than previous new cars that I've driven. I know I can't compare an Altima to a Civic but I had leased a 2013 Honda Civic prior to this car and felt that the Civic's steering was a lot lighter (the car felt lighter). So since a Civic is a different category, even my mom's 2014 Toyota RAV4's steering feels much lighter, thus making the car feel lighter/easier to steer. My dad drove the car and told me that it felt heavier compared to his Toyota Camry. I was just wondering if the Altima's steering is supposed to be a bit heavier or if this is something that will be resolved once the car has been broken in more or if there is an issue with the power steering/fluid needs to be added etc...?
Thanks!

I've driven a number of cars over 30 years and this would be a major issue as to whether I would consider buying one. I would be very surprised if it will change after break in. Different power steering fluid (lighter) could be tried but it would probably make little difference and might affect long term wear.
