They might do something as a show of good will; but they aren't guaranteed to be impervious to everything. They say "guaranteed not to crack, bubble, or flake". Gouging it with a 350 lbs isn't really flaking.

This is one of those times where a plastic drop-in liner would've been king.
Nice and slippery.

Exactly why I have always used drop in plastic liners. They have a shock absorbing function and they are also much slicker to slide heavy things on. The spray in I'd prefer if I never put anything hard or heavy in the back.
