My Jeep tried to lunge a couple of times after turned off.

Can someone tell my why my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited tried lunging forward a couple of times after it was turned off? I have never had this happen before. I had just finished a short road trip of about 100 miles in 100 degree weather, and had the air conditioner going. Other than that I drove it like I normally do, fairly conservatively. I am a single woman and this is my only vehicle. Does anyone have any insight for me?
