HHR brake issues: brakes scrape and depress at end of stop

I have an 09 HHR that sometimes, when stopping, makes a scraping noise and the brakes depress. It's always at the end of my stop. It will slow down and then towards the end of a stop it feels like the brake pedal pops out a little bit and makes a scraping noise. It's not the ABS, it's a completely different noise, and the pedal doesn't vibrate. When pumping my brakes while car is on, it does not get tense, it goes to the floor almost every time with enough for e. Also my brake fluid has not changed in level. Please advise.

This sounds like the brake wear sensor, you should check the thickness of your brake pads because you might need to replace them.
