Can I use a 1993 6.5l turbo diesel engine and use my parts of my 1998 diesel 6.5 turbo engine?

Want to know if its possible to use a 1993 6.5 turbo diesel(its mechanical) use my parts of my brown 1998 6.5 turbo diesel electrical  engine  if this 1993 will work and what I might have to swap out found this 1993 rebuilt hoping to use in my 1998 GMC k3500
