What to do with a Ford Ranger?

I'm going to be getting either a 99 or 2000 Ford ranger xlt 4x4 v6 or 4 cylinder, my question is, what can I do to make it look awesome?? Or more fun to drive? Both are red and both are manuals! Also, are these trucks fun to drive? Oh, and they are both extended cabs! And the 2000 is the v6! And which would you recommend?

    Looks are subjective and a personal choice. however there are a few tired and true things to do like. add a little lift since its 4x4 and get wheels and tires to give it a beefy look. window tint, running boards are a nice touch. and since its a small truck go with the ext. cab so you have more room and it will handle a fraction better than a single cab
