Our 2015 Nissan Murano didn't quite achieve its EPA highway rating during its recent journey to San Rafael, but it did cross the 10,000-mile barrier.

Was A/C on most of time? It's a very good MPG considering that you guys have a Platinum version with 20inch rims and overall car is heavier with all the passengers and luggage. I can only imagine what will a SV trim with 18 inch rims and 1 driver get on regular highway commute to work. 28MPG in such a luxury, quiet and comfy SUV is amazing actually.

I'll tell you what though, these are pretty impressive MPG numbers for a mid size SUV. Especially since it's the same engine from the previous generation. I have a 2011 Murano and I have been averaging 19 MPGS of mixed driving.

I own a 2015 Platinum FWD and I find it very easy to get better than 28 mpg hwy. With less than 1k miles on it...I was able to get 28.9 mpg over 550 mile trip (29.3 mpg digital readout)...average speed of 65mph. My lifetime average now with over 2200 miles is 24.5 mpg with a 60%/city/40% hwy combo. My worst tank has been 21.8 mpg. All these numbers are with A/C on as it's summer in AR with tons of humidity. I haven yet to find something that bugs me enough to call it a dislike with this Murano.
