2003 Chevy Venture electrical problems

The door locks on my 2003 Venture started locking and unlocking automatically while I was driving yesterday, I wasn't touching the switch at all. when I got home I also noticed that my headlights don't flash anymore when I lock my vehicle with the key fob. The headlights always flashed on and off when locking my vehicle up until now. Today when I drove the van the door locks didn't lock/unlock automatically but I looked at my gauges and noticed the temperature gauge wasn't working, it was working normally for about the first 20 minutes of my drive buy then it dropped all the way down and stayed there. Any suggestions on what the problem could be or is it just time to get rid of it?

My guess is that it might be BCM (Body Control Module) related (Doesn't mean BCM itself is bad). How old is the battery (electronics can be sensitive )?
