Electronic issues

My wife bought a 2008 awhile ago. The other day she went to start it and there was nothing. After managing to get it pushed into the garage, her father noticed a humming noise. They thought something was draining the battery so they discontinued it. When I got home I discovered there was a poor quality fuse in one port. After changing that the humming noise went away but now the radio and signal lights won't work. After checking all the fuses in all 3 locations, I have discovered 5 fuses that should be getting power but are not. All pertain to audio and lights in some way. Anyone know why? Is it a bad ground somewhere?  Or a burnt wire?

What do you mean by poor quality fuse? A fuse of an improper rating? If the fuse was not the correct rating then you could have serious damage to the wiring system, especially in the event of a power surge. That would probably explain why other fuses are not working. There must be some problem between the battery and the fuses. Check the battery voltage. So in other words the fuse fails to have power on both sides? That means there is an open prior to the fuse, so either a discharged battery or an open circuit leading to the fuse.
