Oil Light Flashing After Overheating

I have a 2001 Mazda Protege with 177k miles on it. It has been a great car for the past 12 years, with no major problems. BUT .... recently the car overheated. I replaced the radiator last year. Then the water pump and thermostat about a month ago. The car keeps overheating. We checked to see if there is air in the coolant system and "burped" the system, but the car continues to overheat. The coolant overflow tank has been overflowing and I find that it is boiling and requires letting the engine cool down for at least a half an hour and then the coolant is sucked back into the radiator. Now the oil light is flashing on and off, but there is plenty of oil. Any ideas?
