The current Elantra has aged VERY well...still interesting, aggressive, sleek. Worried that they would be too conservative/regressive with the redesign, but it's not looking that way. I keep saying the current Elantra is what the Honda Civic SHOULD have looked like. Instead, the front end is a mess (hood overlaps grill badly and entire thing looks pinched/bucktoothed. Definitely not desirable, despite the fact that I've owned two Hondas.

The current Elantra has aged VERY well--bayoujay......Agree with you, but say it differently. Always hoped Hyundai wouldn't change the Elantra much, because it was better than any change they could have made-up. Altho 2016 Elantra is still better looking than any other brand, Hyundai head honchos are antsy, thinking they have to earn their money.......by changing Elantra looks. If they really wanted to upgrade Elantra, they should have found more mpg & low rpm torque. The Hyundai CEO is a cheater. Oh, well! Changed my 2013 Venetian Red auto Elantra to.....a 2016 Venetian Red manual Elantra. Ya know, the 2016 Elantra engine is much quieter than the 2013, & the 2016 Venetian Red paint is better than the 2013 Elantra paint.
