I bought a 2009 MDX and would like to install a new audio system with navigation and possibly DVD. What is the best system available for this model?

I don't know but try Crutchfield and maybe your local stereo shop. Or even your dealer.

There's two issues with doing this.

    1. Finding a unit you like.

    2. Getting it installed in such a way that it won't mess up everything else. All the OEM stuff is integrated with the car's computers and ECUs, so it may not be a plug and play deal. The last one I did myself was back in '82. I don't see many complaints here but occasionally someone will have a new unit put in their late model car and a week later they run into no start issues and flashing instrument panels. I may be overly cautious but some sort of install warranty would be nice if you aren't doing it yourself.
