Jeep Grand Cherokee turning issues

When i turn left from a dead stop it will start to go then it gets a surge in power and jerks. It only does this turning left. Its 2wd. ive checked all ball joints, wheel bearings, sway bar bushings and everything is in good shape. im at a loss as to why it only does this going left. anyone have any ideas?
