'00 Grand Am, dash lights, new ignition and hard shift.

I have a 00' grand am that I just purchased. The security, abs, traction control, service engine lights are all on. It does have a new ignition and from what I previously read that could be the culprit to all those lights. However the car sometimes shifts hard from park to reverse and it also shifts hard from first to second. My question is how do you bypass,reset the security system, and why does it seem like the car studders or slips when starting from a stop. Could that be a side effect of the security light being on? The car does start and drive while the security light is on.
