The low pressure side is down by the strut tower on the passengers side of the vehicle, the high pressure port is by the compressor. Now this is for a NON-Turbo charged engine; the specs for turbo charged set ups is different and is only listed in the factory service manual to which I do not have access. I am told that if you raise the cruiser, on proper jack stands or ramps of course, you can go under the car and find these locations by site.
Of course it is recommended that the system be evacuated and recovered, tested and then refilled with the proper weight of refrigerant.
Good luck.
Now it is back to the hands around the throat. Quick scan at a parts store also show random misfire, Crank and Cam sensors as well as O2 sensors.
I replaced the both O2 sensors, Cam, Crank Throttle sensor and IAC valve. Also removed valve covers and replaced the spark plug tube seals that were leaking, gaskets, plugs, wires, coil. I saw a damaged connector for one of the injector. I replaced the connector as well as ALL injectors. Replaced the fuel pump 6 months prior. I AM STILL GETTING THE HANDS AROUND THE THROAT !!!!!
What's important is what testing has been done to prove why the computer is generating the codes?
What codes are setting, we would need the code numbers and he descriptions. Are the symptoms present all of the time or just some of the time? If just some of the time what conditions have to be present for the symptoms to occur?
