Can I dilute Rustcheck with gasoline?

The reason is that the Rustcheck is to thick to go thorough my siphon feed air gun. Will gas affect the Rustcheck? Thanks!!

    You must be Canadian eh? We don't get those questions down here - even when I recently lived in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with tons of salt on the road, no one bothered with the rustproofing stuff. And looking at the cars up there, maybe we should have.

    Anyway, there's a lot of different Rustcheck products and you can pull the MSDS for the stuff you are using. I looked at Rust Check Rust Inhibitor and the biggest ingredient looks to be "refined base stock" (oil?). Has a nice cherry scent. :)

    The flash point is > 200°C. I'd be leery of thinning it with gas just because of the flammability issue. Maybe kerosene?

    Best bet would be to call or email the company and ask.

    Yep, gas=BOOM!!  Find out what's recommended.
