2002 Grand Cherokee shifting

I got one for ya..in normal driving , transmission shifts fine..but when gas is mashed lol..she will stay in the gear it's in and wont shift..and then starts to slow down...if gas is returned to normal position shifts fine,,,hummm..I will figure this out..one way or another. any one else had this problem? I have fixed many things one this truck, If you don't like chasing problems...or not good at trouble shooting...Stay away from a Jeep!!!!!
