I'm going to be real interested in seeing how y'all calculate the TMV on this. I recently purchased a daily driver for my Mother-In-Law and was using Edmunds for pricing info. However, on the older cars (10 years or so), the numbers are skewed way too off of the Market Value's True Asking Price as well as the Sold price, at least in my area. Some of the TMVs y'all generate for Texas are in the ball park of 300-800 dollars, total, when they're selling for a minimum of 2000 for the mileage and condition I enter in to the Edmunds price quote.

That's funny that even the crappiest car ever produced could be in such demand. Also, you say that the "owner said he wouldn't take less than $12,500 for it" is that referring to the sticker or the car?

He'd take $12,500 for the entire car. Sticker included, I assume.

It would make more sense to give him the $12,500, and park both those Yugos in the Edmunds lobby rather than the two Corvettes..
