Missing Hitch Cover

This second time I've lost the hitch cover. The first time it cost almost $300. with the paint and all. I asked them to glue the hitch cover on as I don't use the hitch. They did not, I did. Then had a flat and had to get the spare out. The tire store put the hitch cover back on and it lost that day. I'm so frustrated with this. Anyone know a cheaper route for replacement? Besides trading the vehicle?
