1500 Quad cab recall

I am interested in buying an eco-diesel 1500 quad cab, however, it appears that the dealers aren't selling any due to a recall involving the side curtain airbag. One of the salesmen I talked to said the engineers still have not developed a fix for the recall issue. My question: Should I wait for the recall issue to be fixed before negotiating a deal or not? My guess is that they will have several of last years' models (2015) sitting on the dealers' lots after the fix is resolved in a couple months (Nov 2015). Will Dodge be looking at trying to move a bunch of 2015 1500s in the 2016 model year and, therefore, spice up the incentives, or are the incentives (and selection) the best they will be right now (mid-Sept 2015)?
