Accessing hard to reach spark plug

Hi. I'm having a heck of time trying to get to the #4 plug(right side in back). Can't see it, manifold seems to be in the way). Is there a "best way" to get to it without taking off lots of things ?

    Remove the right front wheel. Go at from just under the inner fender.

    It's funny...some cars we used to work on had spark plugs that were nasty to get to but those cars are nothing compared to some of today's cars!

    That's for sure. What used to be somewhat simple maintenance is sometimes nearly impossible on vehicles nowadays. I think I'm going to sell this SUV now and find an old pick up or something that can at least SEE everything !

    Take what you just learned, multiply that by several tens of thousands, and you'll have a good idea of just what a journeyman technician needs to know.
