    Contact the last owner and ask questions about the car--service record/location, accident details, recall fixes, quirks, oil consumption. The dealer has that contact information, but may be reluctant to divulge it.

    Sorry dealers wont give that info out to you.

    I recommend using these guides to help make a good educated choice on a used vehicle. Carfax, dealer records, having a Indy mechanic look over used vehicle , buying a CPO vehicle or get a extended warrant if you plan of keeping vehicle for many years.
