2004 Tacoma brake light socket replacement

Passenger side brake light is not working. Bulb is fine. Seems that the "plunger action" in the socket may be lacking. I put some WD in there.....worked for a day or so....now not working. Can I replace this socket or do I need an entire lens assembly? Appreciate any help.

Anything I could find on the socket, showed a wiring harness with all three bulbs, but also had a note that said, "Included with tail light assembly". So it appears that if a socket has gone bad, replacing the entire assembly might be the only option. Fortunately, they're not all that expensive
