2016 2wd Tacoma big change in suspension?

Haven't made it to a dealer yet that has a 2016 2wd Tacoma in stock, and i'm puzzled by the online spec sheet. The overall height for every model is the same, 70.6 inches. Does that mean even the 2wd sits as tall as a 4x4? i want to replace my 95 Tacoma 2wd with another 2wd, but if it's as tall as a 4x4, I might have to look at other options. A 4x4 might be too tall for older family members to get inside.
