How do you disarm an alarm on a 1998 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4?

i had just recently found out that my jeep had an alarm and fro some reason the alarm had desided to go off for no reason and i dont know how you disarm the alarm on this vehicle?

    Hello! Key in driver door lock, lock then unlock should re-set the alarm. Or key in ignition and turn to start should re-set. If not, the alarm system is malfunctioning and must be serviced. Or, (and I don't really recommend this), unhook the alarm by unplugging the sound device to kill it.
