Forester 2012 - replacing rear view mirror for heated powered rear view mirror

Looking for info on replacement of a regular 2.5x rear view mirror for a heated powered rear view mirror. Wondering if the wires for the heating on the mirror are there, and I just need to get the right mirror.
If doable, looking for instructions on how to get this done...

    I'm confused. I am not familiar with a heated inside rear-view mirror, never mind one that's powered. Please explain, are we talking outside mirrors, in which case the elements are in the mirror but the power is in the case on the door.
