my question i replaced all 4 struts and break pads on my car and when i finished i now have the traction light that shows it being off and the ABS break light is on . Can you tell me what i might have done to cause those 2 problems

    Are all the connectors for the ABS sensors reconnected after all the work has been done? Disconnect them and reconnect to be sure you're getting a good connection. You might have a broken wire after moving them around. You also might have a bearing that is worn enough that it's moving and affecting the sensor's ability to read the teeth that it counts as its way of knowing how fast the hub is turning. Check all hubs for movement. Many like the wobble test being careful to not include the ball joint movement if any. About an eighth of an inch is typical. GM says, if I recall correctly, movement in and out of 0.05 in is maximum--that's direct push/pull movement along the axis of the axle.
