Post-Pebble Checkup - 1989 Yugo GVL Long-Term Road Test

Fresh off its triumph at the Concours d'LeMons, our 1989 Yugo GVL was running tip-top, but we didn't want to press our luck. Back to the Yugo Doctor it went for a few targeted tweaks.

    I prefer to focus on the convincingly grained wood dash.

    $444.25 for those "repairs"? Man, I need to open a Yugo shop, holy smokes.
    Oops, OK, I see he fixed the fuel tank which is some relatively PITA work, so I guess that's not as bad as originally thought. I retract my statement above.

    I think the wood dash is actually "burled" not "grained" fake wood. A Yuigo would have nothing less.

    Fairly reasonable for the work involved including dropping and cleaning/sealing the tank.

    Jackpot! Great find. Appropriately for a Yugo mechanic, perhaps, our man doesn't really do the Internet.

    EDIT: I tried to order one, says out of stock. I'm guessing that's not changing anytime soon. The Yugo Doc's reputation is preserved.
