Most people just turn on the radio and increase the volume until the sound isn't noticeable.

Rattles drive me crazy. Especially in a fairly new car. It really sours my impression of the car. My 18 year old Acura TL has a creaking sound where the dash meets the windshield. In this case it doesn't bother me so much due to the car's age. Previously, in my 2008 Acura RDX when it was new, there was a (sometimes) rattle from the silver dash trim that runs horizontal. Drove me crazy for about a year. Then it suddenly went away and hasn't reappeared 7 years later.

I know I seem like a Mopar "hater" because I've made comments similar to this before, but Chrysler (or whatever name they're going by nowadays by whoever owns the majority of their stock) has never been known for build quality. When was the last time a Chrysler product got rave reviews about how solid it was put together, with everything lined up the way it was supposed to be? Chrysler has managed to do such an abysmal job at quality control that no one even bats an eye about it. I've always wanted a Jeep Wrangler, but considering it's fuel economy, I could buy an actual truck, have more room, tow more, and carry more people for the purchase price. For me to consider a Jeep product nowadays, It'd have to be literally half the price of what they want for them. As it is...I just long to get my hands on an old GPW, GP, CJ-2 or CJ3 Willys.
