Volkswagen Group of America and Audi of America on Wednesday told Edmunds they will stop the sale of certain diesel vehicles equipped with 3.0-liter six-cylinder engines in the U.S. and Canada in the wake of the growing diesel-emissions scandal.

    At least they're making a prompt / positive move to signal to regulators that they want to communicate and resolve the issue before it gets even more out of hand.
