Rearview Camera

While pricing the new 2016 Lexus RX350, I note that the rearview camera seems to be bundled with the navigation system - is that true? So if I don't go for the navigation system (minimum $1,600) then I don't get a rearview camera?

I've taken the nav option on every car since 2006, but finally I'm ready to give up on them as they are always hideously bad, and now you get so much better functionality from Google Maps or Waze. But - I cannot live without a rearview camera! My CR-V (in fact, every Honda in production) comes with rearview camera with or without Nav (if you don't buy the nav, then the rearview camera is presented on a smaller but still adequate 'multi-information display' on the dash). I'm finally at a point where I'm not going to pay $1,600 for a big screen in the car.

Our review says "Standard equipment on the RX 350.... You also get a rearview camera".

The option packs offer a panoramic rearview camera.

Another shopper is seeing some confusion about heated seats in the RX 350, so best double-check with the dealer on this stuff. But since every car will have to have them by law by 2018, it seems that most cars come with them standard now (the HR-V has a great one).
