Kind of misleading for Edmunds to even compare YOUR Edmunds mileage to the EPA when TOWING factored in. The EPA does not factor in towing, so your logic is flawed. Without towing you would be above the EPA rating for combined (easily). I know breaking it out is tough. However, the real world mpg should be noted as having no direct comparison to the EPA rating. Just not an accurate number vs EPA.

I have a 2015 EcoDiesel without the towing miles you have. In 6,300 miles since new - only 375 miles have been towing - and my lifetime average is 22.6 mpg. I can validate your towing numbers as the 375 miles were at approx 19 mpg towing a 5,000 lb boat/trailer.

Just bringing this up as the amount you use ANY of your long term trucks to tow makes all references to EPA ratings invalid...
